Organic Assam Tea Tippy Golden FOP are Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe grade, meaning they are rich, robust, astringent, and highly aromatic. Assam is often regarded as a "morning tea," but it is also an excellent choice for a formal English-style tea and all of the traditional cakes, sandwiches, and sweets that accompany it. Assam tolerates milk and sugar well and makes a flavorful iced tea. Our organic, Fair Trade Certified™ bulk Assam tea is kosher-certified.

Assam is the traditional black Indian tea. Each 16 oz package contains an ample amount of loose leaves from India. 

How to Use: 

To make a satisfying cup of tea, simmer 1tsp of leaves in 6 oz of hot water for around 4 or 5 minutes. Strain the leaves and pour hot tea into a cup. Enjoy!
