Hibiscus flowers are caffeine-free, which makes them ideal for herbal tea blends. When the flowers are dried and soaked in hot water, they release a tart flavor with hints of cranberry. Hibiscus flowers can also add a robust flavor to green and black teas. These flowers are tart and colorful, making them an appealing addition to any dish.

Directions

1. Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over one teaspoon of herbs.
2. Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes.
3. Strain and serve immediately.
