Cooking Instructions:

For optimal nutrient absorption, soak lentils and rice for 1 hour. Rinse and sauté them with ghee and spices in a saucepan. Add water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then add vegetables and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. Enjoy the ancient goodness!

Instant Pot Method:

Soak lentils for 30 minutes. Sauté the Khichdi pouch contents with ghee in your Instant Pot. Add drained lentils, rice, vegetables, water, salt, and pepper. Pressure cook for 8 minutes with a 10-minute natural release. Stir and serve!
